About Us

Hi!

Pippin and Molly

Pippin and Molly

We are Molly and Dan, your intrepid travelers. We live in New York City with our two very adorable bunnies, Pippin and Luna. Combined, we have been vegan for over 11 years. Luna and Pippin, however, have us beat. They have been herbivores (as all rabbits are) for about 13 years!

We have always loved to travel. In our 6 years together we have traveled internationally 8 times, plus many trips around our good ‘ole USofA. Over the past year we started planning this around the world trip, slowly putting the pieces together to make the trip possible and a reality. Then we decided to get married.

After our brief engagement, we were married in front of (most of) our favorite people in the world on May 26th, 2013 in NYC. When planning the wedding we thought, what better thing to use as an excuse for an around the world trip than getting married! So we put in our notice with our jobs and we are heading out to see the world.

We decided to write this blog for three reasons:

  1. So our families would stop worrying about us (hi mom!),
  2. To show what you can do and see anywhere and everywhere on earth on a tight budget, and
  3. To help and encourage vegan travelers to go out there and see things while sticking true to their ethical beliefs.

So on this here website you will find tales of our adventures hopping around the world on a budget, and all of our vegan tips and tricks that we gather on the road. We are on a mission to prove that you can be vegan anywhere. We hope you will join us for the ride!

  1. I’m really glad to have found your blog! I am a vegetarian and am planning to be completely vegan by the end of the year, but at the same time I am trying to launch a lifestyle of permanent travel. I know that in some places, like India or South East Asia, that will be relatively easy, but I am scared there will be other places where I’ll really struggle. So your blog will be so helpful. Thank you. :)

Karyn, that sounds fabulous! Keep in touch. I’d love to help you out with any questions, but I’m also sure I could learn a lot from you and your travels!
